Matelesse comes from French, meaning "cushioned" or "padded," which certainly describes our subdued yet elegant vineyard bedspread. It’s expertly woven from soft 100% combed cotton on a Jacquard loom where coarse and ordinary yarns are interlaced to create the charming raised vineyard pattern and give it its quilted character. The result is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the hand. Finished with a scalloped edge. Matching sham available. Machine wash; air dry. Portugal.
